Family Fortunes
A Family Fortunes board
game? Our survey said … great! This is an exciting game, based on the
ever-popular, long running television programme of the same name, aimed at
players aged eight years to adult. Different games can be played according
to the number of players, either by two players or two teams. The aim is to
give the most popular answers from a list of amusing questions.
The game comes attractively
boxed showing compere Les Dennis on set, and it should provide hours of fun.
A true family game than can be enjoyed by anyone from 8 to 80 years old. --Susan
Naylor
Contents: 2 packs of
cards bearing questions and more than 1000 popular answers; special writing
pads; pencils; a timer (egg-timer style); and the famous Family Fortunes
"wrong answer" sound-effect gadget. There is also an excellent and
comprehensive instruction pamphlet explaining rules and scoring which is
well set out and easy to follow.

Brilliant Game!!
I got this last year for
a Christmas present, and my family and I played it over and over again!
It's such a laugh, so much fun, and a real team game. One person can
play host, and then there are two teams.
It's best to play when there are lots of you. It gets you playing as a
team and is a real laugh. Also the classical incorrect buzzer is a
laugh too - my little brother seemed to enjoy that more than the actual
game! Any age can enjoy it - from 10 and up.
I would recommend this
to anyone wanting a good team game - you can play it individually too -
it's different, funny and gets everyone involved. Great game.
Good fun
This is a good game that
is good value for money in that it takes a long time to get through all
the cards. Its great fun guessing what the "average English citizen"
would say when asked on the spot (because that is definitely not always
the most obvious answer!).
A little time consuming
in handing cards and answer sheets back and forth to check answers and
take turns but its easy enough to drop those rules if you want to. I'd
recommend it.
Family Fortunes Review
I recently bought this
for the traditional family game on Christmas day night, we played two
teams of 7 which was ok. The game has 4 packs of question cards to
answer we played for about 3 hours and only managed to get through 3/4
of one pack.
The game is just like
off the TV where each teams selects one contestant to answer the first
question then whoever wins takes control of the game, the box
also contains the famous incorrect answer buzzer which was a whole lot
of fun, I recommend this game to anyone from the ages of 10.
