Shaman Wisdom Cards
Artist Leita Richesson has drawn
on the traditions and wisdom of Native American cultures in creating her
Shaman Wisdom cards. These 65 cards depict the nature guides, objects and
directions that are an essential part of North American shamanic practice.
They are divided into 6 groups:
Moon Tribes (cards 1-12) = 12 seasons and astrological signs
Animal Sisters (cards 13-24)
Plant Clans (cards 25-36)
Tree Brothers (cards 37-48)
Sacred Stone Societies (cards 49-58)
Seven Great Directions (cards 59-65)
Each of the Shaman Wisdom Cards is assigned certain qualities such as direction, gender and
element. These are taken into consideration during interpretation.
