Rune Cards

Rune cards: This Futhark rune cards gift pack explains rune cards meanings, rune cards divination, how to give rune cards readings and how to meditate using the rune cards.

Runes are a set of symbols that are used both in divination and magickal workings. There are several types of runes with different origins. A few are the Norse, Scandinavian and Germanic runes. Unlike the Tarot, they are an integral part of the magickal system with its own pantheon, should you care to use it. They can function as an alphabet and are useful in vision questing, dream recall and controlling your environment.

Two million people now consult Ralph Blum’s runes. This new edition of Rune Cards, with evocative new art from Gabrielle Gern, takes the art of runecraft further. Rune cards serve as a companion to The Book of Runes, and as an introduction for those yet to experience the runes. Ralph Blum has created fascinating new techniques for use with these cards. Now you can work with compelling visual metaphors for the runes on your journey beyond the material to the creative and spiritual – your journey to wholeness. Wonderfully accurate from the first time you use them, using Rune cards is as simple as 1, 2, 3 – think of the issue, draw the cards, consult the book. The runes do not provide answers to questions: rather they point you in the direction where you will find the answer for yourself. Pack contains 25 cards and a 168-page illustrated guidebook.

The cards are pretty.3

I have this. The rune cards are pretty and fun to use, but the book that explains their meanings is a little...vague. Somehow all of the meanings seem alike to me. Other definitions that I've read are a bit more specific and a little more paganish. The book does give directions though and that's nice.
