Voyager Tarot
There are a plethora of tarot decks and kits available today. What distinguishes
this kit from the others is that it encourages the user to be proactive and to
use intuition to change the future. Wanless encourages the user to not accept
the future as a given, but as something that individual actions can alter.
Accessible and easy-to-use, The Voyager Tarot is an excellent decision-making
guide that can help you navigate through life, enhance business planning,
relationship building, and self-discovery.
The Voyager Tarot was created in 1984 by artist Ken Knutson
under the direction of James Wanless. Wanless builds on the
traditional tarot, but he has made many changes to make his deck
more proactive and relevant to the 21st Century. The cards are
photo-collages that "include exquisite and ordinary artefacts of
human and natural genius." The major arcana roughly follows the
model of the Thoth
Tarot. The suits are the wands, cups, crystals (swords) and
worlds (pentacles). The court cards represent the Human Family:
Man, Woman, Sage (grandparent), and Child. Wanless has developed
the Voyager Tarot into a complete system for self-development,
including seminars, certification and related tools'

A great tool for creative intuition
The Voyager Tarot is a deck of cards that comes with
a guidebook. It is a very creative tool for insight in one's life, and
for use as a map: where to go next, what to do, etc.
I use it in my work as a tarot consultant, and to me it's the most fun
tarot deck I've ever used. The Voyager tarot cards provide so many images that even a person without
any tarot-knowledge can work with it and get in touch with their
intuition.
